10 ships waiting to berth at Lagos ports with petrol, other goods

Ten ships have arrived at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports and are waiting to berth with petrol, bulk fertilizer and general cargo, says the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

It said 31 others conveying petroleum products, food and other goods are expected to arrive from Wednesday to June 15.

According to NPA, not less than five of the 31 ships will sail in with petrol, two with diesel and nine with different goods, including vehicles.

The remaining 15 ships are carrying buckwheat, base oil, frozen fish, steel products, salt and empty containers.
