Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria and Tunisia out the five representatives of Africa were defeated in their opening matches.

Morocco lost 1-0 to lowly rated Iran, Egypt lost 1-0 to Uruguay, Nigeria was humiliated 2-0 by Croatia, while Tunisia lost 2-1 to England on Monday, while the last African representative, Senegal play Poland on Tuesday.
