34 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 34 ships to bring petroleum products, food and other goods from July 5 to July 30 at Apapa and Tin Can Island ports.

The authority says two of the 34 ships will sail in with petrol, while another two ships will bring in diesel.

It stated that the remaining 30 ships would sail in with buckwheat, steel, vehicles, cargo, general cargo, kerosene, base oil, frozen fish, bulk sugar, bulk fertiliser and containers carrying different goods.

According to the NPA, 10 ships have arrived at the ports waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, uria, aviation fuel, diesel, bulk gas and petrol.
