14 ships laden with petrol, other products arrive Lagos ports

Fourteen ships carrying various products are at the Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports waiting to berth, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said in it daily publications on Wednesday in Lagos.

It said eight of the vessels contained petrol, while the remaining six ships would berth with buckwheat, soya beans, container and bulk fertiliser.

The NPA also stated that 34 ships carrying buckwheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, diesel, container, general cargo, frozen fish and petrol were expected at the ports between Sept. 5 and Sept. 20.
