PenCom begins radio programme to educate Nigerians on contributory pension scheme

The National Pension Commission (PenCom) on Friday began a radio programme entitled: “Retirement Mata’’ to educate Nigerians on the workings of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), a statement from the commission said.

The statement issued by Mr Peter Aghahowa, PenCom’s Head of Corporate Communications in Abuja, said the maiden radio programme was aired on Friday.

According to Aghahowa, the programme sponsored by PenCom  is a weekly 30 minutes pidgin English programme aired every Friday on NAIJA 102.7 FM, Lagos at 5 p.m.

The pension spokesperson urged members of the public to listen to the programme designed to educate and enlighten Nigerians on the CPS.

He said the programme was also designed to address so many issues pertaining to the CPS.
