2018 Ministry of Interior Games kick off in Kaduna

The 2018 Ministry of Interior Games (MIGA) on Sunday, kicked off in Kaduna with a complimentary Polo Tournament organised for the Minister of Interior, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau(Rtd).

The tournament is titled “Polo Peace Tournament”.

A statement by the Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS),  Mr Sunday James in Abuja says the tournament was organised by NIS Polo Team to welcome the minister.

According to the statement, Danbazau was accompanied by the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Mr Muhammad Babandede, Controller General, Nigeria Prisons Service Ahmed Jaafar.

Others were Comptroller-General, Federal Fire Service Mr Joseph Garba Anebi and Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps,  Abdullahi Gana who was represented.

James said two teams played the tournament both of them were of Immigration team A and team B.

“The game ended with a 3-2 in an all winners game.”

The Minister, however, urged the other services to follow the foot step of the Service to form a team at next MIGA which would hold in 2020.
