Again Reps step down debate on 2019 Budget till Tuesday

The House of Representatives on Thursday stepped down debate on the 2019 Appropriation Bill due to failure of the Ministry of Budget and National Planning to submit a reconciled figure of the budget.
The Speaker, Mr Yakubu Dogara, who asked that the bill be stepped down till Tuesday, said the House needed to get the correct figures before continuing with the debate.
The lawmakers had on Wednesday urged the ministry to submit the correct version of the budget following errors discovered in the original document submitted to the House.—NAN
