Ministerial screening: Recite the National Anthem, Melaye tells Keyamo
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Festus Keyamo was on Friday (today) asked to recite the second stanza of the National Anthem.
The request for Keyamo to recite the second stanza of the National Anthem was made by Senator Dino Melaye during the ministerial screening of nominees submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari for confirmation.
According to Senator Melaye, “I know you to be intellectually mobile, I want you to recite the second stanza of the national anthem.”
But Keyamo was rescued by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, when he overruled the request made by Melaye.
