26 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 26 ships are expected at the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports from Aug. 8 to Aug. 22.

NPA said in its daily publications “Shipping Position” on Thursday that none of the ships was carrying petroleum products.

It said that the 26 ships were laden with general cargoes, fresh fish, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, frozen fish, buckwheat, and containers carrying different goods.

According to NPA, 17 ships have arrived the ports waiting to berth with containers, buckwheat, general cargo and petrol.

NPA said that no fewer than 22 ships were at the ports discharging buckwheat, vehicles, general cargo, aviation turbine kerosene (ATK), containers, petrol, kerosene, frozen fish and bulk sugar.
