Ethiopia Airlines committed to advancing integration in Africa – envoy

The Ethiopian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Solomon Tessema, on Sunday said that his country would intensify efforts, via Ethiopian Airlines, to boost integration among African nations.

The Ambassador, in a remark at a dinner organised by Ethiopian Airlines, Nigeria office, to appreciate its customers, said that the efforts would fast track the goal of making Africa nations self-reliant.

Tessema expressed optimism that the impact of Ethiopian Airlines services would create brighter future for Africa.

“The Ethiopia Airline plays a crucial role in Africa’s growth. Ethiopia has worked tirelessly to connect Africa. We are very proud of this accomplishment. The role Ethiopia Airline is playing to facilitate integration of Africa is laudable,” he said.

The Ambassador commended the African Union for deepening efforts to unite the continent.

He also commended leaders of African nations for working diligently towards African integration, and particularly lauded Nigeria’s efforts in that regard.

He said that Ethiopia would improve its relationship with Nigeria so as to reap more mutual benefits.

The airline offered some rewards to some costumers who had consistently patronised its services.
