The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 16 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Jan. 20 to Feb. 16.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available in Lagos on Monday.

According to it, the ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

The publication said that the ships contained petrol, containers, general cargo, frozen fish, bulk sugar, base oil and bulk wheat.

NPA reports that 22 ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with containers, bulk wheat, and fuel.

Also, the organisation said that 18 other ships are at the ports discharging automobile gasoline, general cargo, containers, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, petrol, frozen fish and gypsum.
