Gov El-Rufai Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Governor El-Rufai announced on Saturday night that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was currently in self-isolation “as required by the case management guidelines of the NCDC for a someone that is not showing symptoms.”

The governor made the announcement in a short video clip he posted on his official Twitter handle (@GovKaduna).

 Malam Nasir @elrufai has disclosed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. He is in self-isolation as required by the case management guidelines of the NCDC for a someone that is not showing symptoms.

El-Rufai urged the people of Kaduna to, “continue to closely observe the preventive measures already announced. It is most important that everybody should do their utmost to stay safe, stay home and stay alive”.
