9 vessels expected at Delta ports – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says nine vessels are expected to arrive at the Delta Port, Warri, between May 19 and May 30.

The NPA disclosed this in it’s daily publication, ‘Shipping Position’ a copy of which was obtained on Tuesday in Warri.

The authority said that the ships were laden with Automotive Gasoline Oil (AGO), Premium Motor Spirit {PMS), steel bullet and bitumen.

It stated that the vessels included MT Venlo, MT Rosemary, MT Tornado, MV Chariana.

NPA further said that while one declaration was made on Tuesday, two ships were awaiting anchorage at the Escravos and the Koko anchorage.

“While the one in Koko is waiting for loading, the one in Escravos is awaiting maintenance,” the authority stated.
