Lagos Bye-Election: Ikuforiji delivers polling unit for APC, assures APC presence in Epe communities

Former Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Dr Adeyemi Ikuforiji delivered his polling unit in Epe Local Government Area to All Progressive Congress ( APC) as mark of total commitment and support for his party.

Ikuforiji who voted at unit 003 ward A4 in Okebalogun area of Epe at the Lagos State bye- election of the Lagos East Senatorial District at the Senate, after the death of Late Sen. Bayo Oshinowo.

Ikuforiji who arrived the polling unit and gets accredited by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) officials after which he was given the ballot paper to vote

He said that members of the APC are on course to deliver Epe LGA for Tokunbo Abiru, while addressing the press after voting.
According to him,” our party candidate is the most preferred among all.

The former speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly convincingly delivered his unit to APC Senatorial candidate, Mr Tokunbo Abiru.

Abiru who scored 76 votes to defeat the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Babatunde Gbadamosi who scored 11 votes.

According to him, “The people of Epe appreciated APC’s intervention programmes in the areas of road infrastructure that is ongoing across the Local Government, health care services, education and poverty alleviation programmes, hence the people are out to respond with votes for the ruling party as signs of commitment and appreciation to the party.

He assured residents that more democratic dividends would come their way if they cast their vote for APC candidate.
