22-year-old Nigerian drone maker employed in Finland

A 22-year-old Nigerian drone maker, Ignatus Asabor, has left the country after he was employed by a company in Finland.

Ignatius makes special drones using local materials. He was flown to Finland by a Finnish company and got employment with the same company.

The Finland-based company announced Asabor’s employment on LinkedIn.

Managing director of a Finland-based Radai Limited, Ari Saartenoja, relished Asabor’s employment with his company.

Saartenoja posted the photograph of Asabor’s arrival to Oulu, Finland, and expressed optimism that the Nigerian will strengthen the survey operations of his team in the future.

“Ignatius Asabor, young Nigerian drone talent has just arrived to Finland, Oulu,” Saartenoja said.

“Ignatius will strengthen Radai’s survey team in future and bring more international expertise in the field. Welcome, Ignatius Asabor to Radai Team!”

Asabor also confirmed his arrival to Finland, saying he has ‘arrived in Oulu city’.

Nigerians congratulated the 22-year-old and tipped him to become the best in drone making globally – like Silas Adekunle, who is the highest paid robotic engineer in the world.

Adekunle achieved the feat after signing a new deal with the world’s reputable software manufacturers, Apple Inc.

The robotics engineer was also named as ‘Someone to Watch in 2018’ by the Black Hedge Fund Group.
