Obasanjo commends TRACE for effective traffic control In Ogun

Former President, Chef Olusegun Obasanjo, has commended the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) for its efforts towards effective management and traffic control in the State.

Obasanjo said this at the 6th Annual TRACE Corps Commander Conference on Friday, in Abeokuta.

The Conference has the theme “Panacea for Our Traffic Woes: Improving Road Safety Through Technology Driven Road & Traffic Management.”

“I wish to commend TRACE personnel for their professionality leading to the reduction in the rate of road crashes in the state over the years.

“In addition, its quick response to accidents, ensuring safety of lives and properties and traffic management are commendable,” he said.

Obasanjo said that in the course of doing their jobs, people would exhibit rudeness, embarrass and assault them, adding that these were part of the sacrifices to be made in doing their jobs.

He urged them to do everything possible to improve on their service delivery to the people.
