Notore Chemicals’ loss increases by 49.7%, hits N9.58m

Notore Chemical Industries Plc (Group) at the weekend presented its audited results for the year ended December 31, 2021 with a further loss of N9.576 million as against the N6.397 million recorded in 2020. This represents a loss of 49.70 per cent. The company also witnessed a further loss of N9.074 million fromN6.378 million in 2020.

The turnover of the group stood at N25.706 million from N18.799 million in 2020 while the company recorded 25.484 million from N18.799 million in 2020.

Earlier in the just concluded week, the company notified the Exchange of its late submission of financials report for the period under review.

The Company said it regrets its inability to file the Audited Financial Statements for December 31, 2021, by the due date of 31st March 2022. The delay was occasioned by the fact that the Company’s auditors are yet to conclude their audit of the financial statements for the year-end.

The Company changed its auditors during the year under review in compliance with regulatory requirements. The appointment and onboarding of the new auditors suffered some delays, which consequently impacted the timelines for the conduct of the audit of the financial statements.

We anticipate that the Audited Financial Statements for the 15 months ended December 31, 2021, will be filed with the Exchange no later than April 22, 2022. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience these delays may have caused.
