Ganduje Speaks On Why He Endorsed His Deputy To Succeed Him

Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has revealed the reason why he endorsed his deputy, Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, as his preferred successor in 2023.

Ganduje’s successor was made at a meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in the state over the weekend.

In a meeting with Kano State APC stakeholders on Tuesday, Ganduje said he chose Gawuna as his successor because of his loyalty, reliability and dedication.

According to a statement issued by his spokesman, Abba Anwar, Ganduje described his deputy as a complete gentleman who knows what is right and what is wrong.

Governor Ganduje added that Gawuna makes good use of his office as a very loyal lieutenant, who is very loyal and dependable.

He said the decision on Gawuna was unanimously taken after exhaustive deliberations with all the stakeholders of the party, adding that, all party procedures were followed before arriving at the position.
