Experts to discuss financial inclusion at insurance confab

Key economic stakeholders are set to discuss Nigeria’s financial inclusion and some of the government’s key policies centred on a financial system that will wrap up all layers of the society.

The experts, drawn from key private sector organisations and regulatory agencies, will gather at the inaugural conference on ‘Financial Inclusion’ coming up on the 16 June, 2022 organised by StanMmeg Communications, publishers of Oriental News Nigeria in Lagos.

The Commissioner for Insurance, Sunday Thomas, who had confirmed insurance participation in the conference, an initiative he described as a major policy-driven programme in which NAICOM is passionate about.

According to Thomas, given the endorsement, NAICOM would join other relevant stakeholders from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the National Communications Commission and others who will be part of the discussants at the confab.
