Bigmark Estates appoints members to Board

Bigmark Estates Limited, a real estate development company based in Lagos, Nigeria has announced new board appointments as  part of its strategic plan in positioning for leadership role in the real estate market in Nigeria.

According to a statement signed by the Managing Director/CEO of the company, Mr. Kalu Okoronkwo; the new board members are Mr. Martin Anyanwu, former Marketing and Communications Director at both  UBA Plc and Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc; Mr. Emmanuel Obeta, former Communications Director, Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS); Mr. Ralph Anusionwu; Mr. Mike Nzeagwu, MD/CEO Metro Media Communications Limited and Mr. Ike David, a Senior management staff  of a company operating in the downstream oil sector in Nigeria.

Okoronkwo stated that appointment of the board members is a welcome development as the appointments to the Bigmark Board will have significant contributions to the evolution of the industry and contribute to the overall strategy of the company in realizing its set goals.

“We look forward to their perspectives and progressive work supporting the company’s mission and vision to enable real estate investment in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

“I am delighted to welcome our new board members; their diverse expertise and strategic insight will be invaluable as we deliver on our mandate and support the objectives of our increasing human capital base. I look forward to working closely with the new Board in delivering our mission,” he said.

Kalu said that Bigmark Estates Limited has acquired over 10 hectares of land in choice location in Abia State where it intends to develop hundreds of housing units to the benefit of average and low-income earners in the area.

The ground breaking ceremony of the “Project Abia” will be announced in the coming weeks, he explained.
