Armed Robbers invade Queen’s College In Ibadan, kill security guard

Persons suspected to be armed robbers reportedly killed a security guard during a raid on the premises of Queen’s College, Apata in the Ido Local Council, yesterday.

It was learnt that the suspected robbers armed with sophisticated weapons invaded the premises at about 1 am, yesterday.

The Guardian gathered that the security guards on duty put up a resistance but could not match the fireworks of the robbers, resulting in the death of one of the guards.

Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, who confirmed the incident, said the incident is already being investigated.
