Police nab husband who stabbed pregnant wife to death in Benue State

A man identified as Bem Mathew in Korinya city, Konshisha local government area of Benue State, has been arrested for stabbing his pregnant wife, Mngusonun Bem, to death.
This is even as the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident, saying the suspect is already in Police custody.
According to her, “the incident has been confirmed and suspect is in custody. We will understand what really happened during investigation.”
Our correspondent gathered from sources in the area that Bem stabbed his wife, who was the mother of their five children, when they had a misunderstanding and he got provoked.
According to a source, the couple had a minor misunderstanding, and the husband got provoked and used a knife to stab his pregnant wife to death.
