Canva outage frustrates users as upload, editing issues persist

Popular graphic design platform, Canva, experienced a major outage on Tuesday, preventing users from uploading or editing images.

The disruption sparked widespread frustration, particularly among those who rely on the platform for their creative and professional work.

According to reports from Downdetector an online platform that monitors service outages, over 421reports indicated issues specifically related to image uploads and editing.

Users took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their frustration:

An X user, Sarah Nicole who identifies as #miss_flawless4 wrote, “#canva my images that I am uploading keep disappearing. Why is that happening ?”

Soran who identifies as #Sorankurd22 said, “is Canva down??? bruh i have clients to manage.”

Free Speech Forever who writes annonymously as #MSMLies247 wrote, “#canva I cannot upload to my files right now from my app or from online at the site. My internet is fine. Is this feature down right now?”

As Canva remains a go-to platform for millions of users, the outage has disrupted work for many who depend on it for their projects.

The company has yet to release an official statement addressing the issue.
