In a significant move to foster innovation and enhance worker safety across Africa, the Africa Safety Award for Excellence (AfriSAFE) has launched the “AfriSAFE 2025 Safety Idea Capital.” This initiative will connect aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators with experienced individuals, known as “Guardians,” who are prepared to invest up to $5,000 in exchange for equity to support their groundbreaking HSSE ideas.
Femi Da-silva, CEO of AfriSAFE, announced this initiative, underscoring the organization’s commitment to driving HSE advancements in Africa. Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their ideas prior to the AfriSAFE event scheduled for November in Mombasa, Kenya. Mr. Da-silva emphasized that the AfriSAFE Safety Idea Capital offers not only financial backing but also mentorship and strategic guidance to advance HSE innovations that will make roads, workplaces, and homes safer through new technologies.
Simultaneously, Mr. Da-silva declared the opening of nominations for the 7th edition of AfriSAFE 2025.
