Reps to monitor palliatives implementation

The House of Representatives has assured Nigerians that it will be alive to its constitutional obligation to effectively monitor all entities of government responsible for the deployment of the palliatives to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
The Green Chamber said it will closely monitor every Ministry, Department and Agency (MDA) that will be involved in the implementation of the palliative measures to ensure speedy delivery, equitable distribution, and transparency.
The spokesman of the House, Hon. Akin Rotimi, in a statement, commended President Bola Tinubu for the announcement of palliatives aimed at alleviating the adverse economic effects resulting from the removal of fuel subsidy.
