A leading global energy management and automation giant, Schneider Electric, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a renowned Nigerian cable manufacturing company, NIGERCHIN on electrician’s development programme in the country.

The partnership, the companies noted, would see the expansion of Schneider Electric’s Electricians Development Programme through NIGERCHIN across Nigeria.

“This partnership will also provide added benefits to registered electricians and contractors, such as discounts on the purchase of premium cables and support with training,” the said in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.

Signing the MoU on Wednesday in Lagos, the Head, Building Business Anglophone West Africa, Mojola Ola, explained that Schneider Electricians’ Club, which was launched in February 2018 was to ensure electricians were rewarded for their loyalty.

Ola said members of the club would also have free access to Schneider Electric training programmes in electrical installation and VIP access to the Schneider Electric Experience lounge.

“This partnership will generate a valuable synergy to provide complementary offers to the market with guaranteed quality, while enhancing the experience of members of the programme through more rewards and training opportunities,” Ola said.

He said Schneider Electric was the only original equipment manufacturer in Nigeria to provide such a loyalty programme dedicated to electricians.—NAN
