32 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 32 ships to bring petroleum products, food and other goods from June 30 to  July 19, at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

NPA in its daily publication ‘Shipping Position’ on Sunday in Lagos said that one of the ships would sail in with diesel.

The other 31 ships are carrying diplomatic, bulk malt, general cargo,  bulk sugar,  ethanol,  frozen fish, buckwheat, and containers carrying different goods.

According to NPA, nine ships have arrived at the ports waiting to berth with containers, bulk fertiliser and petrol.

NPA said 13 ships were discharging buckwheat, base oil, general cargo, container, petrol,  butane gas and bulk sugar.
