LG boss tasks FERMA on quality jobs

Alhaji Abdulrahman Maigoro, the Chairman of Keffi Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, has called on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to maintain standards in its works.

Maigoro made the call on Monday when FERMA from Keffi zone of Nasarawa State paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Keffi.

According to him, good standard will ensure that quality work is done in the interest of development.

He noted that he had approved the rehabilitation of the damaged culvert along Keffi Total filling station to  ease the plight of people plying the road.

“I want to thank you for the visit and to assure you of my administration readiness to collaborate with any organisation towards improving on the lives of my people.

“I have approved the rehabilitation of a damaged culvert along Keffi Total Filling station to boost the standard of living of my people.

“The importance for the provision of social amenities cannot be over emphasised to the development of the society’,, he said.

Maigoro also called on the people of the area and Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov.Abdullahi Sule to succeed in the tasks ahead of them.

He enjoined the people of the area and Nigerians to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for the overall development of the country.

Responding, Mr Abundaga Sylvester, Senior Technical Officer of FERMA, expressed his  appreciation to the local government chairman for the construction of the culvert.

He said that the agency was well known for its quality jobs and assured the people of the state standard jobs at all the times.
