NPA expects 22 ships laden with petroleum products, food items

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 22 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Feb. 19 to March 11.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available in Lagos on Wednesday.

The ships are expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

According to the publication, the ships contain petrol, containers, general cargo, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, steel prod, bulk gas, base oil and bulk fertiliser.

The NPA said that 23 ships at the ports were waiting to berth with containers, and fuel.

It said said that 14 others were discharging bulk sugar, bulk wheat, automobile gasoline, frozen fish, container and petrol.
