As Lagos enters the phased easing of lockdown some twenty-four hours from the time of filing this report, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has issued a number of guidelines to further prevent the community transmission of the lethal virus.

The guidelines include those for public transportation, funerals, work hours, amongst others while schools and other public places like mosques, churches, event centers, cinemas, bars, casinos, day and night clubs, as well as beaches remain closed till further notice.

The governor also stressed that inter-state movement is banned in compliance with the order of the President restricting state-to-state movement till further notice.

Residents of the state have been asked to wear face masks in public places, observe social distancing and good personal hygiene as they join efforts with the state and federal government in curbing the spread of the infection.
