The 2018 G7 summit is a nice opportunity for world leaders to gather and chat about important issues facing the planet. But more importantly, it’s another chance for French President Emmanuel Macron to prove he can own Donald Trump in their relentless handshake battle. On Friday night, the two men met to discuss tariffs and such, but they made sure to exchange a number of competitive handshakes before they parted ways.Photos of the big moment show that Macron, who once again, DID NOT COME TO PLAY, squeezed Trump’s right hand so firmly that it turned white with defeat. Here, we see the two men engaging in what could very well be a friendly hug of the hands.

But when the grip is released we see Macron’s white-as-snow thumb mark left on Trump’s skin. YIKES.

"Ow."
“Ow.”

Other handshake analyzers noticed the latest installment in the showdown, as well. And they seem to be impressed with Macron’s strength.
