The Onilu dynasty in llorin on Wednesday expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole, over the appointment of their Son, Lanre lssa-Onilu, as the National Publicity Secretary of the party.
This is contained in a congratulatory statement signed by the spokesperson of family, Alhaji lbrahim Tajudeen-Onilu and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Ilorin.
The statement said that the President, the National Executive Council (NEC) and other stakeholders in the party had made a right choice.
“On behalf of the Onilu family, both at home and overseas expressed our appreciation to the President Muhammadu Buhari, the NEC and other stakeholders of our great party, APC over the appointment of our son as APC spokesperson “the statement said.
It further expressed appreciation to the Minister of lnformation and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohamned and other APC stalwarts in the state over the appointment.
The family prayed for God’s guidance protection and wisdom to enable the new APC National Publicity Secretary succeed in his new job.
The National Working Committee of the APC had last week announced the appointment of the new APC spokesperson.
