South Africa’s economy to grow to 1.3% in 2019 – World Bank

The World Bank says South Africa’s economic growth will accelerate to 1.3 per cent in 2019 from an estimated 0.9 per cent in 2018.

The World Bank, in its latest report on Tuesday cited the implementation of structural reforms announced in 2018 for the growth.

The bank also projected South Africa’s economic growth at 1.7 per cent in 2020.
