17 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 17 ships to bring in food and other goods from July 29 to Aug. 8 at the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports.

NPA made this known in its daily publications: “Shipping Position’’.

None of the ships carries petroleum products.According to NPA, the 17 ships are carrying general cargo, bulk sugar, frozen fish, buckwheat and containers carrying different goods.

It said that 14 ships had arrived the ports waiting to berth with containers, buckwheat, general cargo and petrol.

NPA said that no fewer than 16 ships were presently discharging buckwheat, vehicles, general cargo, container, petrol, gypsum, butane, diesel, frozen fish and bulk sugar.
