FAAN sensitizes airport stakeholders on continuous improvement in service quality

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has sensitized stakeholders within the airport community to always ensure continuous improvement in the quality of service rendered at the nation’s airport.

The Managing Director, FAAN, Capt. Rabiu Yadudu, made the call at the Airport service quality sensitization programme of the Airport Council International (ACI) in Lagos

Yadudu explained that FAAN had signed an agreement with ACI in 2018 for the periodic audit of its airport systems and processes.

He said this was with a view to improving on the quality of service offerings at the airports.

The managing director represented by the Director, Airport Operations, Capt. Mukhtar Muye enjoined all stakeholders to continuously embrace the philosophy to Total Quality Management in their day to day activities.

The General Manager, the ACI official in FAAN, Mrs Olajumoke Oni noted that the authority had recorded some measures of improvement in general facilitation within 2018 when the authority signed up into the ACI ASQ programme.

Oni appealed to all stakeholders to keep working at improving the quality of service delivery at the airports at all times so the country could be able to compete favourably with other airports in their categories.

In the attendance at the event were representatives from NCAA, Nigerian Immigration Services, the Airlines Community, amongst several others.

She said FAAN was committed to its core values of safety, security and comfort of airport users in the country.
