Borno Receives NNPC’s Support To Combat Covid-19

Borno State government’s efforts to combat Covid -19 has been bolstered by support from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) led Oil and Gas Sector Coalition against COVID-19, which handed over medical consumables to the state on Saturday.

The equipment were handed over to the state governor, Babagana Zulum by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva and the NNPC Group Managing Director, Mele Kyari.

The Corporation said the donation was part of the N21bn intervention initiative of the coalition against COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Kyari had also said the initiatives would also extend support to government agencies by providing urgently needed resources, both human and materials, required to curb the pandemic.
