22 ships discharging petrol, other items at Lagos port – NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Wednesday said that 22 ships at the Lagos ports were discharging petroleum products and food stuffs.

The NPA made this known in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available  in Lagos.

It listed the contents of the ship as frozen fish, general cargo, trucks, gypsum, bulk wheat, frozen fish, petrol and containers.

It said that other 26 ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with frozen fish, general cargo and containers.

The authority said it was expecting 11 other ships with petroleum products, food items and other goods from July 1 to 18.

It added that the ships contained general cargo, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, frozen fish and petrol were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.
