Akiolu royal family sues for peace

The Akiolu Royal Family has condemned the desecration of the Palace of the Oba of Lagos, describing the act as barbaric and a provocation against the Lagos Royal House and all indigenes of Lagos.

The family, in the same vein, sued for peace saying no community develops without peace. They however appealed for patience and understanding from the Lagos State government, the traditional white cap chiefs, the royal house and the indigenes of the state for lasting solutions to restore peace.

The family also commended them for exercising restraint in the face of provocation. While expressing solidarity with the chiefs, the royal house and the all indigenes, the family appealed to state government and all appropriate authorities to leave no stone unturned in dealing with the dastardly act to forestall future occurrence.
