Work ongoing to move Onigbongbo LCDA forward – Council boss

Mr Oladotun Olakanle, Executive Chairman, Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), said work was in progress to deliver his campaign promises as his administration was committed to moving the council forward.

Olakanle ,  in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ismail Akerele, on Wednesday in Lagos,  urged the general public to ignore media reports of his impeachment, as it is  untrue.

“The general public is advised to ignore news of impeachment being speculated by some social media platforms.

“The legislative arm, executive arm, and all the leaders are working together to deliver on campaign promises the party made during electioneering process,” he said.

Some social media had earlier reported the impeachment of Onigbongbo Council Chairman, Oladotun Olakanle, over financial misappropriation.

It was also reported that the majority leader of the legislative arm of the LCDA, Mr Kayode Opayemi, moved the motion for impeachment and was supported by the chief whip, Mr Adebayo Daudu.
