Our experiences when sandstorm hit flight from Abuja–Passengers

An Aero flight N2125 enroute Yola from Abuja almost crashed after it was hit by sandstorm.

Some of the passengers, who recounted their scary flight experience, said both Muslims and Christians onboard the flight cried to God.

One of them, Yohanna Moses, through his Facebook post said, “Aero Flight N2125, Abuja to Yola yesterday (Saturday) was something else. If not for God, I won’t be able to write or post this. We cried to God both Muslims and Christians and He saved us.”

According to him, the experience of the pilot helped him to manage the sandstorm which hit the plan, adding that the pilot controlled the plane to safety.

He said, “The pilot said it was God that made it possible for us to land. I’m so grateful to God for his faithfulness.”

He said the experience only proved that there “is only one God” being worship in different ways.

“If both Christians and Muslims would humble themselves and seek His face. He will answer our prayers and make our country a better place,” he added.

He said, “Aero should conduct a thorough technical check on their aircraft. We witnessed an unusual turbulence, we almost lost hope. Thank God for safe landing.”

Some sympathizers to the victims over the ill-fated Aero flight, also took to the social media to thank God for sparing the passengers.

Sarah Passa and Aminu Birma, in their Facebook comment said the testimony of those onboard the  Aero flight who were united in calling on God showed it was not all gloom with Nigerians.
