Ooni of Ife prays for peace, prosperity in Ilara-Epe community

Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunnusi, the Ojaja II of Ile-Ife, has prayed for abundance blessings, prosperity and progress for Ilara Kingdom, in Epe Division.

Ogunnusi gave the prayers during the one-year anniversary of Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara, in Epe Division, on Monday.

Ooni said being “Ojo Aje” (Monday) that wealth, blessings, peace, progress shall abound Ilara community and the dwellers.

He said the Alara of Ilara was also celebrating “Aje festival”, together with his one-year anniversary, wealth, fortune and prosperity would remain with the Traditional ruler and his community members.

“Ilara community will know progress henceforth, the land of the community shall be a fertile land.

“Good people, organisations and the government will identify with Ilara community,” Ooni said.

The Ooni of Ife performs several traditional rite on Ilara land and prays for the progress of the community.

Earlier, Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, the Alara of Ilara Kingdom in Epe Division, expressed his appreciation to community members, visitors, Ooni of Ife and other traditional rulers’ presence.

Ogunsanwo said that all the prayers said by Ooni of Ife shall come to past in the community.

He said that all the sacrifices and traditional rites performed by Ooni for the progress of the community shall be answered and accepted by God.

Ogunsanwo said that during his reign, Ilara community shall know progress, development and abundance blessings.
