DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the police spokesman, shared these eight crucial points on Tuesday via his X account:
1. Choose reputable transportation: Opt for known and reliable transportation companies for public travel.
2. Record your details: Ensure your name and information are recorded on the travel manifest. Additionally, share details of the vehicle you’re travelling in with a loved one.
3. Maintain your vehicle: If travelling in your private vehicle, ensure it is well-serviced and in good condition.
4. Avoid night journeys: Unless absolutely necessary, avoid travelling at night.
