Mbah took to his official X handle Peter Ndubuisi Mbah@PNMbah which he personally signed to express his delight over Enugu Ranger football Club victory.

Mbah wrote: “I had the pleasure of hosting Rangers International Football Club of Enugu for winning the 2023/2024 Nigeria Professional Football League, yesterday at the Government House, where I announced a cash reward of N50 million and other non-cash gifts that would immortalize and implant them in our state.

“We cannot express enough how much this NPFL title means to us. @Rangers_Intl  is more than just a football club; it transcends generations and unites us all. It’s about putting Enugu State on the map, both in Nigeria and globally. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and success of the entire team.

“Many thanks to the GM, Amobi Ezeaku, Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu, and the Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, Lloyd Ekweremadu for their professionalism and consistency, and for making Rangers a special team.

“I have maintained that success abhors complacency. Therefore, I urge all members of the team to not rest on their oars, for there is still room for more. We are gearing up for the CAF Champions League and other tournaments. On our part as government, we shall continue to support Rangers International to achieve greater heights.”
