Power failure forces Reps to adjourn plenary

An interruption of power in the House of Representatives on Tuesday forced the lawmakers to adjourn plenary.

Following the power outage, the Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, was left with no other option but to call for an adjournment.

The lawmakers were all seen scrambling to exit of the chamber while using their phone torchlights to find their way through the darkness that engulfed the entire chamber.
