Allow peoples will, Coalition of Civil Society Organizations caution parties

The Coalition For Good Governance In Osun State is calling on all parties involved in the ongoing Election Petition Tribunal to be cautious, and also caution their followers, from making statements that could heat up the polity.

Mr Adetayo Adegbemle, the Convener , Coalition for Good Governance  made the appeal in a statement on Thursday in Lagos.

Adegbenle said that an average man on the streets is only desirous of good governance, and expects their government to lead them into prosperity.

The People of Osun State are industrious, and this could be seen in the number of Small and Medium Scale Industries that operates every day in the State capital, and all other major cities in the State.

It is prejudicial, and total disregard for the Law of Nigeria, for anyone to go about boasting that the Election Results will be upturned, and this will only continue to create unnecessary tension in the State.

The interest, the voice, the will, and the commonwealth of the generality og people of Osun State should be the primary focus of all and sundry.

While everyone awaits the final judgement from the Election Petition Tribunal, we advise that all parties involved should hold their peace, and not continue to utter statements that could disrupt the peace of the State.

Government is for the people of Osun State, and this is sanctum!

The Will of the people is the Voice of God, and it must be allowed to prevailed.
