Popular Ibadan online trader found dead in hotel

A young lady, Adeshina Olayinka, popularly known as Khadi, has been reportedly found dead in a hotel located at Akobo area of Ibadan, Oyo state Capital.
There are various unconfirmed account of how the corpse was discovered at the hotel.
According to information gathered on Facebook by Shizeez, Adeshina Olayinka told one of her friends that she wanted to go and meet someone at the hotel in Akobo on Wednesday night.
It was gathered that after Olayinka had spent night with the person suspected to be her lover, she was found dead in the morning.
Another source said one of the receptionists who borrowed Olayinka’s power bank went to the room to return it but after knocking the door, no one responded which forced the hotel manager to come with extra card to open the door, only to discover Olayinka’s corpse.
A source claimed Olayinka was allegedly used for ritual by the yet- to-be identified lover in the hotel.
But another account of the incident claimed she had told her friend she wanted to meet with someone in an hotel in Akobo on Wednesday night.
“But on Thursday morning, when the man wanted to log out of the hotel, when he got to reception, the receptionist had to put call to Olayinka to confirm her safety and she pick up the call and give permission that they should allow the man, that she is just resting and no cause for alarm, soon she will log out too.
“Later, one of the receptionist who borrow Olayinka power bank went to the room for her power bank and knock the door but no one responded, then the hotel manager come with extra card to open the door and they saw her dead. It seem she is been used for ritual”, the source added.
Effort to confirm the report from the police proved abortive as messages sent to the Command’s Spokesman, Adewale Osifeso had not been replied. The response is still being awaited as at the time of this report.
