Sanwo-Olu submits commissioner-nominees’ list to Lagos Assembly

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, transmitted the list of his proposed cabinet members to the Lagos State House of Assembly for ratification.
The list, details of which had yet to be made public as of the time of filing this report, contained names of 39 commissioner-nominees, according to a tweet on Friday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile.
Akosile added that 30 per cent of the commissioner-nominees are women, while others are youths, technocrats, and politicians.
“Lagos State Gov @jidesanwoolu transmits list of proposed Cabinet members to the Lagos State House of Assembly for ratification. The list consists of 39 names with 30% women, youths, technocrats, and politicians,” Akosile said.
This came barely 24 hours after the Senate unveiled President Bola Tinubu’s list of proposed cabinet members.
