The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Gombe State command, said it has deployed over  295 of its personnel, 10 patrol vehicles and four Ambulances, to ensure effective patrol during the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.

The Sector commander, Dr. Godwin Omiko, who gave this indication in a statement issued on Thursday in Gombe, enjoined road users to drive with caution and obey traffic rules and regulations during the period.

He warned motorists to shun overloading, over speeding, wrongful overtaking and other acts that could put the lives of road users at risk.

He also reminded them of the rainy season, urging them to ensure that their lighting system and tyres were in good condition
