Immigration boss inaugurates new quarter guard

The Comptroller General, Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Mr Muhammad Babandede, has officially inaugurated the entrance gate and new quarter guard of the service headquarters, Abuja.

Babandede said in a statement by the Service Public Relations Officer, Mr Sunday James, on Friday in Abuja that the inauguration was symbolic in nature.

He said the entrance gate signified the border entry point while the quarter guard was a sentry area for officers on duty.

“This is the face of new immigration service that will take the country’s Migration Management and Control to the next level.

“People address you the way you look. Immigration service has taken a new look in and out.

“This has justified the transformation put in place and on-going by the management which has also affected the way we do things, ” he said.
