9 vessels laden with frozen fish, others expected at Delta Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says nine vessels conveying frozen fish and other items are expected to berth at the Delta ports.

NPA made this known in its daily publication, “Shipping Position” , a copy of which was made available on Tuesday in Warri.

The organisation said that the ships included: MT Tornado, MV Frio Nereus, Ihem, MT Safe Sea Neha 111, MT Leon Herc, Orchard, among others.

According to the publication, the port authority made declaration on two vessels laden with butane gas and general cargo.

“Nine vessels laden with AGO, frozen fish, DPK, Butane gas, Generals cargo are being expected at the Delta ports.

“NPA made declaration on two vessels: MV Hyde conveying General cargo and LPG Laperouse laden with Butane gash,” the authority said.

It also said that four vessels were awaiting at the Escravos and Koko anchorage to discharge various products.

“MT Capt Gregory conveying 16,000 metric tons of PMS, MT Biskra 7,502 tons of bitumen and MT Abiola laden with 12,000 metric tons of crude oil are waiting to discharge at the Escravos.

“In the same vein, MT SL Aremu conveying 15,000 metric tons of PMS is waiting at the Koko anchorage to discharge products,” NPA said.

It also said that MT Kowe conveying 7,595 metric tons of petrol is awaiting at the Fairway Buoy to discharge products.
